Terms and Conditions for Renting a Car at Kuta Rent Cars
Car Rental Requirements:
1. A valid International ID such as Passport or Holiday Visa.
2. An International Driving License is mandatory; however, a country driving license is acceptable.
Rental Rates:
Rates are for 24 hours (daily), with an additional 10% per hour for 1-5 hours.
6 hours or more will be counted as 1 day.
Some vendors may apply a different extra charge, such as 20% per hour for 1-3 hours. 4 hours or more will be counted as 1 day.
Luxury cars like Fortuner, Pajero, and others are rented per date. The car must be returned on the same day it is taken out.
Responsibility and Off-Road Usage:
The renter is fully responsible for off-road damages (e.g., beach, field, etc.), theft, or any consequences of allowing others to drive the vehicle.
An agreement must be signed upon car delivery.
Restrictions:
It is not permitted to drive the car off the island without prior approval from the Car Rental Company.
Free delivery to the Airport and Kuta area. Extra charges apply for remote areas.
Booking and Payment:
A down payment is required to make a booking, equivalent to a minimum of 1 day's rent.
Complete and submit the Booking Form; payment is made upon car delivery.
Replacement cars are available at no additional charge if the client is dissatisfied with the initially provided car.
Deposit:
A deposit of 1,500,000 rupiah or $100 USD is required.
The deposit will be fully refunded if the car is returned undamaged.
The deposit covers repair costs, extra time fees, remote location pickup, and emergency assistance.
Insurance:
Excess insurance is USD 500.
All-risk insurance is 100K rupiah per day with a maximum excess of USD 100, covering minor scratches and dents. Major damages incur a maximum charge of $100 USD. The insurance also covers vehicle loss.
Fuel Policy:
No refunds for car fuel; return the car with the same oil level. Otherwise, a replacement cost of 50K per oil level will apply.
Documentation:
The renter must take photos and videos of the rented car on the first day to avoid disputes at the end of the rental period.
In case of a dispute, the car rental service cannot be held responsible.
